Pan or zoom the map and it writes a single filter back onto the grid it reads from; provenance shows what was drawn against what matched

This writes the map's visible box back onto the grid as an ordinary filter, so panning or zooming narrows the rows and every tile and chart reading the same grid follows. It makes the map a control over the data rather than a picture of it.

The map and the grid share one filter condition. Move the map and the condition changes; set the condition from a saved view and the map pans to match it. Panning and zooming need the map to carry country boundaries or a geometry column to move against, which this page loads for you.
