Lattice Grid is a complete grid that is licensed by the domains it runs on, so the price does not move when the team does. Develop against it for nothing, for as long as you like. Pay when it goes in front of your customers.

A named domain is $1,000, and that number is only obviously low once you know what a per-seat grid costs a growing team: a twenty-developer team pays around $20,000 a year on a typical enterprise per-seat licence. See the comparisons →

No feature is held back, because there is only one edition. Remote and streaming sources, grouping, pivot, computed columns, tree data, Excel export, saved views, undo, column permissions and the rest are simply part of the product. What a licence sets is where the grid may run, not what it can do.

Why per domain

Per-developer licensing charges you for headcount you already pay for. It also makes the grid a procurement conversation every time someone joins, and an audit conversation every time a contractor touches the codebase.

Charging per domain removes both. Add developers, add contractors, hand the work to an agency for six months: the price is the same, and nobody has to count anybody. A domain is something you already know without asking anyone. There is a calculator on the home page if you want to see the difference over a year.

What counts as a domain

Every hostname the grid is served from, named on the key. If your application runs on app.example.com and an admin screen runs on admin.example.com, that is two.

Development on localhost is free and needs no key, so the machine you build on never counts. A staging or preview hostname is a domain like any other and is priced like one. If you would rather keep staging out of the licence, bind it to a loopback host.

A wildcard such as *.example.com is $10,000, because it covers every subdomain including the ones that do not exist yet, and those are applications we cannot count. If you know the hostnames, name them and pay per domain. If you are not sure which side of the line you are on, ask us before you buy and we will confirm in writing.

Trying it properly

The free localhost licence is not a trial in the usual sense. There is no countdown, no feature gate and no sales call attached to it. Build the real screen against real data and find out whether the grid holds up before you spend anything.

If you deploy without a key, the grid still renders everything and carries a small trial watermark. Nothing breaks, and nothing refuses to render.

Terms and renewal

A licence runs for the term you buy and does not auto-renew. If a term is set to renew automatically, that is stated on the checkout page before you pay. If it lapses, software already deployed keeps working. You stop receiving updates and support, but nothing goes dark.
