DHTMLX prices its grid per organisation, but the tier you land on is set by two dials at once: how many developers you have, and how many projects you build. Add a second application or a few more engineers and you move up. Lattice Grid is one number per domain, with the developer count and the project count left out of it entirely. Per organisation and per project, or per domain
DHTMLX licences are perpetual and sold by tier: the Individual tier covers one developer on one project, the Commercial tier a small team on one project, and you climb from there as either the team or the number of projects grows, with a year of support that renews. That means the price tracks two things that tend to increase, headcount and how many applications you ship. Lattice Grid is licensed per domain instead: a named domain is $1,000 and a wildcard is $10,000, each with unlimited developers, no project cap and a year of updates and support. Put ten developers on it or a hundred, ship it on one application or five; the licence does not move.

Moving from DHTMLX
What makes the move tractable is that the concepts map closely. It is a translation rather than a redesign, and you rewrite a thin grid layer, not your application. This is a different API and not a drop-in swap, so it is honest work, but it is bounded work. The only reliable way to size it is to build the real screen against your own data.
