Handsontable integrates HyperFormula, a genuine spreadsheet formula engine
with cross-cell references, ranges and a large function library. If what you
are building is a spreadsheet, that is a real and significant advantage.
Lattice Grid's computed columns and typed, parsed formula language are
excellent for derivations that stay within a row and safe against untrusted
input, but they are not a general formula engine, and if your users expect
to write =SUM(A1:A20) across cells, Handsontable is the better
fit. The case here is for editing depth, grouping, charts and statistics in
one edition, licensed per domain, everywhere except the spreadsheet-engine
