What happened

Both the localStorage shortcut and an explicit storage adapter were configured. The explicit adapter wins and views.local does nothing: silently overriding a developer-supplied backend because a page also left local set would be a surprise worth reporting rather than a policy decision made on your behalf.

The fix

Drop whichever of the two you did not mean.

createGrid(el, { views: { storage: myAdapter } });
