What happened

An adapter that does not declare group but declares statistics (with count) and a tree filter with eq would have its grouped view built from grouped aggregates, one call per level. Without the method behind the statistics that cannot happen, so the query is planned as for an adapter that cannot aggregate: the grouping is refused (pushdown:group-unsupported) and the grid stays ungrouped, unless fullDataset holds every matching row and the grid groups them itself.

The fix

Implement executeGroupedAggregates(query, groupBy, aggregates) returning one { keys, level, values } entry per group, or declare group and implement executeGroupLevel.
