What happened

The grid folds every letter's case; the engines' case_insensitive flag on term and wildcard folds A-Z only. A value such as Zoë is still pushed case-insensitively, and matches ZOË only if the index already holds that exact form of the Ë, so the difference is named once.

The fix

Set caseSensitive: true on the condition, or map the field with a lowercase normalizer so the index folds every letter itself.
