What happened

parquet_kv_metadata over the file failed, so neither the geometry columns the file declares nor their CRS are known. Columns the engine types GEOMETRY and spatial.column still work; their coordinates are used as stored.

The fix

Check the path, or set spatial.column and spatial.crs explicitly.

The smallest fix

duckdbAdapter({ connection, from, spatial: { column: 'geometry', crs: 'EPSG:4326' } })
