What happened

edit.deleteRows() with no keys deletes the selection, and the selection is a predicate: every row a filter matched, most of them never loaded. Deleting only the loaded rows would be a truncated delete shown as the whole, so the grid deleted nothing. The beforeDelete event carried predicate and count with empty keys.

The fix

In a beforeDelete handler, delete by e.predicate.filter (less e.predicate.except) on the server, then reload the source.
