What happened

Every row a pushdown source's filter matched was selected (a predicate selection), and the filter has since changed. The row just ticked is not one the captured filter matches, and a predicate selection can only take rows out (its except list), not add rows from outside, so the tick was refused and the selection left exactly as it was.

The fix

Select all again under the current filter, or clear the selection and select rows individually by key.
