What happened

options.geometry says where each row is placed, and it must name columns of the grid: { lat, lng } (or lon), { geojson } or { path }. It was missing, or named a column the grid does not have, so no map was made.

The fix

Name the grid's own columns in geometry.

The smallest fix

geometry: { lat: 'latitude', lng: 'longitude' }  // or { geojson: 'geom' } or { path: 'route' }
