What happened

Typed or pasted text for a list cell held a piece the item type cannot read. The whole edit or paste is refused - the cell keeps the list it had - rather than storing the pieces that did read and silently dropping the one that did not.

The fix

Correct the named item, or separate items with commas (or the column's typeOptions.joiner).
