What happened

The grid the panel was bound to was destroyed (an htmx swap, a page-framework teardown, or a host call to grid.destroy()). The panel stays mounted but stops following the dead grid, and a refresh shows nothing rather than throwing on the torn-down store.

The fix

Point the panel at the replacement grid with kpi.rebind(grid), or declare data-lattice-bind="<grid id>" on its container so the htmx module re-binds it automatically after a swap.
