What happened

A source-bound board persists a move by writing the column through the source's update path, and the source has no edit.commit to route the write through. The card was left where it was rather than moved without persistence.

The fix

Create the source with edit: true over an adapter that declares mutate.update, or make the board readonly so the move is refused before the write is attempted.
