What happened

The board (or a setColumnWidth call) configured a minColumnWidth greater than maxColumnWidth, a pair 'fill' cannot honour both ends of - a CSS min-width always wins over a smaller max-width anyway. Rather than rendering a column at an unexplained fixed width, the minimum wins outright: both resolve to minColumnWidth.

The fix

Raise maxColumnWidth above minColumnWidth, or drop one of the two.
