What happened

header.render was given a value that is none of the shapes the types declare - a function, a render() component, an init()/element() component, or a class building either. The grid falls back to the stock heading rather than drawing nothing.

The fix

Give header.render a function, an object with render(label, params), an object with init(params) and element(), or a class building one of those.
