What happened

createDataView's view.on() was given an event name the view never emits, so the handler can never run. The subscription is still made; the typo is named.

The fix

Use one of the documented events: itemClick, itemDoubleClick, beforeDrop, afterDrop, dragOut, selectionChange, input, change.

The smallest fix

view.on('itemClick', (e) => console.log(e.id));
