What happened

A SPREAD join was declared without a value reader - the field or fn(row) that reads each attribute row's value. Without a value there is nothing to write under the spread field, so the join is dropped and the parent rows pass through unenriched rather than the router throwing.

The fix

Set spread.value to the child field holding the attribute value, or a fn(row) that reads it.
