What happened

The source grid's selection is a predicate: every row a filter matched on a pushdown source, most of them never loaded. link()/relate() read a selection through keys(), and turning only the loaded keys into the target-row filter would filter the target by a truncated subset presented as the whole selection, so the router refuses to and the link imposes no constraint instead - exactly the choice edit.deleteRows() makes for a predicate selection it cannot express (selection:predicate-unsupported).

The fix

Give the relation a second parameter: (selected, { predicate, count }) => (row) => boolean, and build the target predicate from predicate.filter/count rather than selected.
