What happened

A collect join with a select list, rename map or field name reads each named field off every collected row. This one is absent from the row (it is not a field of the from-source after its own joins), so the collected value is undefined. It is almost always a misspelt name.

The fix

Name a field the from-source's rows carry (including fields added by that source's own joins), or use a select function.

The smallest fix
