What happened

The model's proposal was checked against the spec schema and the source's columns, and part of it was dropped: a panel naming a column the source does not have, a kind this page cannot draw, another source, markup in an html panel, or a link to a dropped panel - or the source named was not one of the dashboard's. Nothing was applied; the returned warnings list every drop.

The fix

Show the warnings with the proposal, and accept what survived with dashboard.apply(spec) or ask again.
