What happened
A column definition carried cell.autoHeight, which is not a column setting and does nothing. Row height is governed by the grid-level autoHeight.
The fix
Remove cell.autoHeight from the column; set autoHeight on the grid for rows that grow to fit, and cell.wrap on the column to wrap its text.
