What happened

cursor was set on a chart type that has no pair of cartesian axes to read a position from - a pie, a treemap, a Sankey, a geomap. No hairline was drawn, and the option was reported rather than accepted in silence, because a caller who sets an option and sees nothing cannot tell a broken option from a broken chart.

Set cursor on a cartesian type: line, step, area, rangeArea, bar, horizontalBar, waterfall, scatter, bubble, candlestick, ohlc, combo or pareto.
