What happened

The browser tried to load a marker image once and could not (a 404, a blocked cross-origin request, a file that is not an image). The outcome is remembered for the page, so the URL is not retried, and the points keep the default marker. The key ends with the full URL.

Fix the URL, or serve the image with a header that lets the page load it.
