What happened

editable.axis named an axis the chart cannot drag along: 'x' or 'xy' on a chart whose x axis is not numeric (anything but a scatter or bubble), or on a pie, donut or floating bar. The sideways part is left out.

The fix

Use axis: 'y' (the default), or bind a numeric column to x on a scatter or bubble chart.

The smallest fix
