What happened

setState() was handed a snapshot whose version field is not 2 - a snapshot written by a newer build. It is accepted best-effort: recognised fields are restored and unknown ones are skipped, rather than refused.

The fix

Read the snapshot with the build that wrote it, or accept the best-effort restore and re-apply any fields it skipped.

The smallest fix

calendar.setState(snapshot);   // version 2 fields restored, the rest ignored
